Volcano Cake Recipe



Ingredients:
1 box chocolate cake mix (or homemade cake mix)
1 can cherry pie filling (or homemade canned cherry pie filling)
whipped cream
red food coloring
chocolate cookie crumbs or sprinkles



Preparation:

1. Prepare cake mix as directed on package.  Bake in bundt pan.  Cool completely.
2. Combine whipped cream with red food coloring.  Fill the hole in the center of the cake with whipped cream.
3. Top with cherry pie filling (lava) and drizzle down sides of the cake.
4. Sprinkle top of volcano with crushed cookie crumbs or sprinkles.
