Accompany your kids if you don’t think they’re old enough to trick-or-treat on their own.
If they’re old enough to trick-or-treat without an adult, tell your kids to stay in a group.
Make sure your kids don’t go inside someone’s house.
Only visit the homes in your local area where you know the people.
Hold a flashlight while trick-or-treating to help you see and others see you.
Say “no” to strangers - never accept a ride or go anywhere with a stranger.
Wear make-up instead of a mask - a mask cuts off your vision and prevents you from seeing cars.
Swords, knives, and similar costume accessories should be short, soft, and flexible.
Check your kids’ candy before they eat it.
Never walk near lit candles or luminaries.

Kids Taco Recipe

Ingredients:
8 chicken franks
8 taco shells
1 can (15-ounces) chili with beans
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese
taco sauce
1 cup shredded lettuce
1/2 cup diced tomato

Preparation:

Split franks lengthwise and fry briefly. Place them in taco shells and top each with 2 Tbsp chili and 1 Tbsp cheese.
Place tacos on baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes in 350 F oven until cheese is melted.
Top with taco sauce, lettuce and tomato.

Kids Homemade Ice Cream

Ingredients:
125 ml (1 cups) whipping cream
1/4 l (1 cups) milk
120 g (1/2 cup) powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Preparation:

Combine whipping cream, milk, powdered sugar and vanilla.

Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer’s directions.
